The Editorial Board of the Ukrainian Scientific Medical Youth Journal (USMYJ) expresses sincere appreciation to all reviewers who participate each year in the process of independent peer review.

Each reviewer makes a valuable contribution to the development of young science, helps to enhance academic standards, and supports transparency throughout the publication process.

The peer-review procedure is conducted in accordance with the ethical principles of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and the standards of ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors), maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality, objectivity, and academic integrity.

Reviewers evaluate:

  • the scientific novelty and relevance of the research;
  • the validity of methodology and reliability of results;
  • the logical consistency of conclusions;
  • compliance of manuscript formatting with journal requirements;
  • correctness of citations and ethical integrity of the content.

The Editorial Board highly values the time and effort of our reviewers, whose constructive feedback helps authors improve their work and maintain the scientific excellence of the journal.
The list of reviewers is updated annually following the approval of each issue.
All reviewers receive an official Reviewer Certificate, confirming their contribution to the editorial and peer-review process.

Members of the Society of Young Scientists, Postgraduates and Specialists of Bogomolets National Medical University

Members of the Society of Young Scientists, Postgraduates and Specialists (SYSPS) of the O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University perform technical verification of manuscripts in accordance with the Checklist for Technical Editorial Review approved by the journal.

Their work ensures that all submitted materials meet the journal’s technical and stylistic requirements and comply with ethical and academic standards.

Technical experts are responsible for:
• verifying compliance of manuscripts with the journal’s formatting and stylistic guidelines;
• maintaining consistency in the presentation of tables, figures, citations, and reference lists;
• confirming the presence of ethical statements, author affiliations, and ORCID identifiers;
• checking the accuracy of terminology and internal structural coherence of the manuscript.

The Editorial Board extends heartfelt gratitude to all SYSPS members for their professionalism, efficiency, and dedication to maintaining high publication standards.
The composition of the SYSPS team is reviewed and updated annually according to the scope and subject areas of submitted materials.
