Main Sections Description
Introduction
Should briefly place the study in a broader context and justify its relevance. Include epidemiology, prevalence, and risk factors where appropriate. Clearly state the purpose and significance of the study.
Aim
Must define the problem addressed, the target group, and the approach used to achieve the objective.
Materials and Methods
Provide a detailed description of the methodology.
Methods must be described in sufficient detail to allow reproducibility.
Results
Present the main findings clearly and logically, using appropriate statistical methods, including p-values and error measures.
Figures, Tables, and Illustrations
Discussion
Interpret results, compare with previous studies, evaluate significance, strengths and limitations, and future perspectives.
This section should clearly summarize the main findings of the study and address the stated aim. The conclusions must reflect the scientific novelty, practical significance, and potential applicability of the results. Repetition of results without synthesis or introduction of new data not presented in the main text is not permitted.
Authors must specify all sources of funding for the study (grants, projects, institutions, organizations), including grant numbers where applicable. If no external funding was received, the following statement should be used:
“The study received no external funding.”
Authors must declare the presence or absence of any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the results of the study or their interpretation (financial, professional, personal, etc.). If no conflict exists, the following statement should be used:
“The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
Authors must confirm that consent for publication has been obtained from all individuals concerned. For case reports, this includes patient consent for the publication of clinical data, images, or any information that may allow identification.
For case reports, it is mandatory to confirm that written informed consent has been obtained from the patient (or legal representative) for participation in the study and/or publication of data. If anonymized data are used, this must also be clearly stated.
Authors must indicate whether the study was approved by an appropriate ethics committee, including the name of the institution, protocol number, and date. This is mandatory for studies involving humans or animals.
If ethical approval was not required (e.g., for review articles), the following statement should be used:
“Ethical approval was not required.”
Authors must indicate whether artificial intelligence tools were used in the preparation of the manuscript. If used, their role should be clearly described (e.g., language editing, data analysis). If not used, the following statement should be provided:
“No artificial intelligence tools were used.”
Authors must clearly specify individual contributions according to the CRediT taxonomy (e.g., Conceptualization, Methodology, Formal Analysis, Writing – Original Draft, Writing – Review & Editing, etc.). This ensures transparency of authorship and responsibility for each stage of the research.
